While Knox County schools are in session, Route 40, South Knoxville, will be on a long-term detour, for the 2:15 trip, INBOUND ONLY, Monday through Friday. Inbound from Moody Avenue, continue straight into Sevierville Pike, left on Compton Street, left on Haywood Avenue, left on Cottrell Street, left on Wynn, right on Moody Avenue to the regular route.
△ Detour for Route 40: South Knoxville
Due to the closure of South Haven from McClung to W Gilbert, Route 40 will be on a weekday detour from 7:15 AM to 5:15 PM until November 6. Outbound from McClung, left on Hackman, right on W Gilbert, left on South Haven, to the regular route. Inbound from South Haven, right on W Gilbert, left on Hackman, right on McClung, to the regular route.
